Horrible experience. 2 days before a trip to bend, I called and booked a room with this company. He asked for my card. I gave him my card information. Told me everything was fine. I drive 4 hours to get to bend. Arrive almost 8:00 at night. I come in to get my key and find out where my room is. I'm informed that my card was declined and they gave my room away.
They never contacted me to try to rerun the card. When I asked why they never contacted me, they told me that it's not their responsibility. I should have received a notification from whoever I booked it with. I informed them that I booked it through them and they said I did not. Went in my call history and hit redial on the phone number. I called and their phone at their desk started ringing. I contacted my bank and they said they never received a transaction so there would be no reason the card would have been declined unless they typed it in incorrectly. Has to talk to the supervisor and was given a card. I called that card while standing there in the phone behind the counter rang. They said they had no vacancy even though they're signed out front says they have vacancy. I continue to attempt to have a conversation with them and they kept talking over me. Would not actually let me ask my questions. Eventually they just went into the back room and shut the door and turned off the lights and never came back out.
The rooms might be fine. I'll never know. But the service was absolutely horrible.
We were very happy with this hotel and pleasantly surprised. We expected it to be more run down but it was clean, comfortable, in a great location (close to the Old Mill District), and the staff is great. The decor is a little out of date and some things need to be painted and/or fixed, and although the A/C worked, it didn't get the room very cool. The pool is nice and I liked that I could park right outside my room. I think it was a good value for my money, especially compared to several other hotels in the area, and I would stay here again.
WARNING. LIARS/THIEVES Own and manage this hotel. DoNOT STAY HERE. The first two days were ideal problem free nights at an affordable motel. However on the third day the manager expressed anger for putting towels on the ground outside of the room because I did not want maids entering. Then after an argument occured in which he stated the guest adjacent to me checked out because I had made a loud noise on a phone call. Regardless of what happened he kicked me out and would not refund me for the rest of that day and night I had already paid for. Then the next day he stated I had put a hole in the drywall, damaged an old and arguably gross lounge chair and left a quote "very sticky substance on the floor. He kept the deposit, charged 250$ cleaning fee, and 500$ damages fee. But get this... When I entered the room there was an unfinished drywall patch presumably fora hole that sat unfinished. From the time before I entered the room to when I left the only people to see the room were me and him. And the arm chair which I certainly did not damage had a pre-existing hole underneath the cushion that when I searched between the cushions for my phone my hand was seriously cut and bled. And the sticky substance is beyond my comprehension. At one point I spilled some salad on the floor but cleaned it promptly leaving no trace. This man scammed me and my mother out of 800$ and I have the text messages to prove it. Beware of this crooked criminal manager. If he does not like you he will steal cheat lie and manipulate to get his way. Stay away from this place. I actively am pursuing a civil suit against him. I am a 26 year bend native and can assure you I did not do any of the things he claimed and he stole from my mother because he believed he could get away with this. If you need a n affordable motel in bend please go to motel west. Best rates and I have never been scammed or ripped off and lied to by the family there. Stay away from cascade lodge.

Very rude front desk attendant. She had me waiting at the front for 5 minutes while staring at me through a window and when she finally greeted me the interaction started off poor. I got the feeling she was lying about availability of rooms. There were maybe 4 cars in the parking lot but was told to find another place. Maybe due to my race?
I've stayed here many times and think it is a great value. Clean rooms, perfect location. This time I discovered at night that I had no hot water. It happens. I'll be back.
I came in and booked 2 rooms for 3 nights and I got a phone call while having dinner that they over booked me and my guests into other people's rooms and had there sons handle the problem instead of the owners (they refer themselves as managers) they had us all move to chalet hotel down the street where there is a price difference in hotels and refused to refund us our difference for spending the night and had the owner of cascade lodge and chalet arguing with my guests and I about that we were wrong for overbooking our stay.they had a young male that looked like he wanted to fight us because he came at my guest and i aggressively thinking we were gonna be hostile and aggressive when i only wanted my price difference in hotels told us to stay the night at chalet so other people can get there rooms they booked and then we could go back to our rooms. After all refused our refunds and each night for 3 nights we moved hotels back and forth to fulfill there "buisness" then told us to not come back and do business with them.
We stayed in the spa suite. They gave us a special last minute deal at the end of the day. Our room was clean and comfortable for our needs. There is an Indian food truck out front if you get hungry. There was always someone close by to check in/out with. We would stay here again while traveling near Bend.
